Twenty-five years of operator-side experience in onshore and offshore (subsea and platform) well completions, workover, DST and well-test design. Specialised in HPHT completions, deepwater subsea completions, and mature-field workover programme management. Currently completing a Professional Certificate in Data Analytics at Imperial College London (May 2026).

Selected technical experience

  • HPHT completions and DST — including 14,500 psi / 380°F (Maersk Oil Culzean, UK CNS), HPHT carbonate completions (Petronas Carigali, Malaysia), and deepwater HPHT (Reliance / BP, KG-D6, Bay of Bengal).
  • Subsea deepwater completions — open-hole and cased-hole alternate-path gravel-pack sand control, 6th-generation drillship operations.
  • Workover programme management at scale — Rumaila Field 2024–2025: from 180 to 246 Workovers per year (+37% increase at constant rig count), +142,000 bbl/d incremental recovery, ~US$100M CAPEX/OPEX savings, rig-move time reduced 3 → 1 days.
  • Material selection — 13Cr, super-13Cr, first deployment in the world of a completion with 17Cr alloy, 25Cr duplex, Inconel grades, sour-service NACE/ISO 15156 compliance.
  • Tubular stress analysis — HPHT load cases including thermal cycling, ballooning, helical buckling, fatigue.
  • Contract experience — tender evaluation across completions, ESPs, well heads, DST-TCP, coiled tubing, stimulation, well testing, WBCO and slickline services.
  • Project management — schedule organisation for design, appraise, contract strategy, procurement, and execution of HPHT well-appraisal campaigns.
  • HSE — risk assessment, multidisciplinary well-on-paper exercises, peer review of operations plans, pre-job safety meetings, after-action reviews.
  • Logging — open-hole and cased-hole logging, interpretation, and pipeline networking design.
